Overview:
With the rebrand of "Nationstar Mortgage" to "mr. cooper", and the acquisition of Xome, we were tasked with bringing the two companies together to operate as a single entity. This meant quickly putting up new sites, and re-branding some of our services as "formerly Xome", while keeping the brand identity of other services.
I was in charge of bringing the merged services into the same brand style by working with mr. cooper directly to make sure that they were still the recognizable services but in a new partnership.

This was my first real project as a Jr. UX designer. I really enjoyed communicating directly with the big-shots back at HQ and was really starting to understand how to collaborate rather than just follow instructions.
I spent a lot of time talking to the people who were setting the design standards, and learned as much as I could about how to keep the integrity of both brands intact through shape and iconography even though the graphics and colors had to change.
